Q: What is concierge medicine?
 

A: Concierge medicine is a membership-based healthcare model offering direct access to your doctor, longer appointment times, and proactive medical care—all without insurance hassles.

 

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: No, we do not bill insurance. Patients pay a monthly membership fee for unlimited access to primary care with Dr Gibson. Insurance can still be used for specialist visits, hospital care, diagnostic testing and prescriptions.

 

Q: Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for my membership?

A: Yes, many patients can use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for concierge medicine. Please consult your FSA or HSA provider as plans may vary by employer.

Hospitalization & Emergency Care

Q: What if I’m admitted to the hospital?

A: Dr. Gibson will serve as your personal healthcare advocate, coordinating with your hospital care team to ensure the best outcome. While we do not admit patients, we actively oversee your care.

Q: What if Dr. Gibson is sick or on vacation?

A: Even when Dr. Gibson is out of the office, coverage will be arranged to ensure that you always have direct access to care from a trusted physician.

Prescription Access & Travel Medicine

Q: Do you provide preventative prescriptions for travel?

A: Yes. We provide preventative medications to help keep you healthy and comfortable while traveling.

Q: Do you prescribe controlled medications?

A: We offer responsible prescription management for clinically appropriate treatments, ensuring safe and effective use tailored to your needs.

Q: What happens if I need a specialist or hospital care?

A: We coordinate referrals and work closely with top specialists to streamline your care and ensure timely appointments.

Q: What if I have an urgent medical concern?

A: Same-day or next-day appointments are guaranteed. You also have direct access to Dr. Gibson for urgent concerns via text, call, or Telehealth.
